Place the spaetzle maker on top of a pot with boiling water. Fill the basket with the prepared dough and slide it back and forth. Let the noodles cook until they float to the surface.

Compared to traditional noodle makers, the basket prevents the dough from falling over the side, while the robust stainless-steel base can be hitched to the pot for increased stability.
