The premium Bikavér of Lajver winery, this red wine made from handpicked grapes embodies their vision of the Szekszárd wine region. It combines a Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with the native Kékfrankos and Kadarka varieties, creating an elegant, effortlessly cosmopolitan yet quintessentially Hungarian vintage.
An intense aroma of freshly brewed espresso and grated dark chocolate, accompanied by a fruitiness of blackberries and ripe raspberries. It is a powerful wine with supple tannins, a round mouthfeel, poised acidity, and resplendent dark berry notes rounded out by the tertiary flavours of sweet spices and toasted notes from the oak barrel ageing.
Food Pairing
A versatile red wine, it makes a perfect accompaniment for steaks, grilled meats and vegetables. For an authentic pairing, try with traditional Hungarian dishes like goulash soup or a rich stew of paprika potatoes or a Baracskai semi-hard cheese.

Vinification is carried out under state-of-the-art conditions, in a Eco-friendly cellar which relies on gravitation energy to gently press the berries.
