Organic Hungarian orange wine from Hárslevelű, this elegant vintage is made with skin-contact from white grapes grown in the volcanic Tokaji terroir.
Deep golden in colour, with a refreshing apple nose. A tantalising salty palate with chalky, stony notes is rounded-off by a hint of sweet vanilla from the barrel ageing. A medium-long mineral finish.
Food Pairing
Try it as an accompaniment to grilled meats or curry dishes. It also pairs very well with hard cheese or enjoy it alongside smoked salmon served with a drizzle of lime juice.

Meet the Winemaker
Gróf Degenfeld Winery, Tokaj - Protected Designation of Origin (PDO)
In 1994 the Count Degenfeld family successfully revived its wine estate in the heart of the Tokaj wine region, ensuring that over 150-year-old tradition lives on with the latest generation. Winemaking was closely intertwined with the family’s deep love and respect for nature; therefore, they have cultivated their vineyards organically since 2009. The family only work with native grapes best suited to the unique micro-climate, creating a range of single varietal wines with award-winning credentials. The bunches are hand-harvested and carefully vinified with minimal intervention. As a result, you are tasting an authentic drop of the volcanic Tokaj terroir with every sip you take.
