Truffle pasta made with free range eggs and aromatic black summer truffles. Serve with a creamy truffle pesto sauce or a drizzle of truffle oil for a gourmet meal.
The truffle pappardelle is made with eight whole, free range, fresh eggs per kilogram of white flour. The chicken enjoyed a natural GMO-free, soy-free and 100% cereal-based diet. The pasta dough was prepared from small eggs which were laid by young hens, as these have greater yolk-to-white ratio.
Cooking recommendation:
Cook in boiling water for 4-8 minutes until al-dente. Strain and it is ready to serve with a truffle or mushroom sauce and grated parmesan.
The truffles are foraged for by abandoned dogs, trained by an animal rescue charity.
