Mangalitsa szalonna is a cured Hungarian pork lardo made by cold-smoking thick cuts of fatback for an intense aroma and an irresistibly buttery texture.
This versatile szalonna is perfect for adding flavour to roast meat. Slice it thinly and place it on top to create a melting outer layer, infusing your dish with a mouth-watering smoky aroma.
